If I was to rate purely on content, this book would get 5 stars. It is very well written and the illustrations enhance the explanations perfectly. I bought it as a supplement to the required text for my structural geology book. It is one of my favorite books in my geology library. Unfortunately the binding did not hold and the book is in pieces. Mine is not the only one either, other students have had the same issue. I have written to the publisher several times and have yet to receive a response. Therefore I cannot give it a perfect score.See all reviews

In terms of content the book is top notch and I would recommend it highly to the academic. However, the quality of the binding is poor and will fail with use.
