What is GDPR?

Recent changes to European Union data protection laws came into force on 25 May 2018 in the form of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The GDPR imposes strict legal obligations that govern how personal information can be used, strengthening data protection for all EU residents. All organisations that process data relating to EU residents must comply, and accordingly we have been reviewing and updating all of our global policies and procedures.

What are we doing to comply?

  • We have reviewed and updated our Privacy Notice detailing how we collect and use your data
  • Cambridge University Press has a dedicated¬†Privacy Team to oversee data compliance (privacy@cambridge.org)
  • We have and will continuously review our processes and polices to offer the best protection to our authors, customers and partners

Thank you for trusting us with your personal information.
