Cambridge Open - 'Complete the Caption' Terms and Conditions


Terms and conditions

1. Eligibility
1.1 All ‘Complete the Caption’ entry tweets, Facebook comments, and email entries between Monday 23rd October and Sunday 29th October 2017 will be entered into a prize draw to win an Apple Watch.
1.2 There will be one winner from the week, picked at random from Twitter, Facebook, and email entries received between Monday 23rd October and Sunday 29th October 2017.
1.3 Entries are limited to one per person.
1.4 By entering the competition, you thereby give Cambridge permission to share your caption entry on Twitter, Facebook, or email.

2. Prize Draw General Terms
2.1 There shall be no cash substitute or alternative prize offered.
2.1 The prize is non-transferable.
2.2 The winner will be drawn at random from all entries received between 23rd October and 29th October 2017.
2.3 The winner will be contacted via Twitter, Facebook or email within 14 days of the closing date of the prize draw. Should Cambridge be unable to contact the winner or should the winner be unable to accept the prize, Cambridge reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.
2.4 The prize draw is for one Apple Watch Series 3 GPS.

3. General
3.1 Cambridge will not sell your personal information to others or release it to others without your prior consent, and will only use your personal data as outlined in our privacy policy (see: http://www.cambridge.org/policy/privacy/).
3.2 Cambridge reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any revised version will be effective immediately that it is displayed on this website.
3.3 In the event that these Terms and Conditions are translated into any language other than English, the terms of the English Language version shall prevail in the event of any conflict.
3.4 Employees of Cambridge University Press and associated companies will not be eligible to participate.
3.5 These entry rules form part of the terms and conditions and it is a condition of entry that the rules are accepted as final.
3.6 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with English laws. Any dispute arising out of the prize draw shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
3.7 The name and country of the winner will be available by sending an email to the Academic Marketing Services team at mlist@cambridge.org or by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Academic Marketing Services, Cambridge University Press, University Printing House, Shaftesbury Road, Cambridge, CB2 8BS, England.
3.8 In the event of any comments or questions concerning these Terms and Conditions, please contact us through the methods listed in 3.7.
