    • Explore the potential for nanotechnologies to transform future mobile and Internet communications
    • Review current and future prospects for materials, electronics and computing, energy storage, cognitive radio, panel displays, sensors and actuators, and manufacturing
    • Evaluate new technologies against competing technologies that may already be commercially available
