We are currently developing a programme of subject-specific and topical teacher training workshops to be held at multiple locations over the coming months. Designed to help Cambridge Schools and Teachers secure a lifetime of achievement from their pupils, our workshops will provide quality, modern training and professional development that comes from Cambridge’s tradition of excellence dating back to 1584.
The teacher training workshops are offered as follow up workshops from introductory CPD events. The workshops place a strong emphasis on pedagogy, skills development, classroom practice and practical activities.
Schools are entitled to request specific trainers and it is possible for teachers to request workshops to run focusing on specific topics, such as:
- Improving performance in specific subjects, e.g. Maths
- Problem solving and scientific enquiry
- Teaching strategies and differentiation
Teacher Training workshops have to be arranged through your local Cambridge University Press representative. While host schools are welcome to invite teachers from other schools to attend workshops, the maximum number of participants is restricted to 50 teachers.
